How to get update
Starting today, the November update is available for customers looking to install the latest version. If you’re ready to install updates, open Windows Update Settings (Settings + Updates + Security + Windows Update) and select “Check for Updates.” When the update appears, you can choose “Download and Install Now.” (Note: If you follow the steps below and don’t see “Feature Update for Windows 10 Version 1909” on your device, there may be compatibility issues and a security reserve is in place until we believe you will have a good update experience After downloading the update, you will need to restart your device to complete the update installation process. Make sure to save the file and close all open apps first, then select “Restart Now“.
If you are not ready to restart, no problem! Just select “Scheduled Restart” and choose the time and time that works best for you. If you don’t have time to schedule a restart, Windows will automatically schedule a restart for you outside of the time you actively use your device. You can also choose a convenient time and pause updates for up to 35 days (7 days at a time, up to 5 times).
